In Babylon, the westbound Southern State Parkway will be closed between exit 39 and exit 32 weeknights from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., beginning Monday, Oct. 14.
The closures will last approximately five weeks to facilitate a pavement resurfacing project, the New York State Department of Transportation said.
During those times, traffic will follow a signed detour using State Route 231.
